Bayfest's Got Talent Competition

Singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, bands, magicians, jugglers, and anyone else that has talent can vie for a chance to perform at Bayfest and win cash. Bayfest's Got Talent is open to acts of all ages including individual performers and groups. This year there will be two divisions competing for $6,300. The youth category is for performers under the age of 18. The adult category is for performers 18 and older.
Awards for the Adult Division are: 1st Place, $2,000 ($1,000 cash and a contract for a $1,000 paid performance at Bayfest 2011); 2nd Place, $1,500 ($750 cash and a contract for a $750 paid performance at Bayfest 2011); 3rd Place, $1,000 ($500 cash and a contract for a $500 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)
Awards for the Youth Division are: 1st Place, $800 ($400 cash and a contract for a $400 paid performance at Bayfest 2011); 2nd Place, $600 ($300 cash and a contract for a $300 paid performance at Bayfest 2011); and 3rd Place, $400 ($200 cash and a contract for a $200 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)
To be eligible for consideration performers may submit up to three audio and/or video selections by May 28, 2010. Demo formats accepted include DVD, CD, MP3, MySpace, web page, etc. Please specify what format you will be submitting your demo on the entry signup form. Thirty finalists (15 in each category) will be chosen by a panel of professionals to compete live at Bayfest's Got Talent on Saturday, June 12. The youth competition will run from 11 am until 3 pm and the adults will compete from 4 pm until 8 pm. A contest/performance schedule as well as complete rules will be forwarded to all selected contestants by Friday, June 4.
MP3's can be emailed to . CD and/or DVD demos should be mailed to Arts Events, Inc., PO Box 1344, Green Bay, WI 54305-1344 OR delivered to Arts Events Inc's office at 130 East Walnut Street, Suite 509, in the historic Bellin Building downtown Green Bay.
General office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
