Bayfest's Got Talent

The competition will present a showcase of entertainment. Singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, magicians, jugglers, bands, and anyone else that has talent can vie for a chance to perform at Bayfest and win cash.



  • Adult Division Awards

  • 1st Place, $2,000

    ($1,000 cash and a contract for a $1,000 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)

  • 2nd Place, $1,500

    ($750 cash and a contract for a $750 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)

  • 3rd Place, $1,000

    ($500 cash and a contract for a $500 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)


  • Youth Division Awards

  • 1st Place, $800

    ($400 cash and a contract for a $400 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)

  • 2nd Place, $600

    ($300 cash and a contract for a $300 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)

  • 3rd Place, $400

    ($200 cash and a contract for a $200 paid performance at Bayfest 2011)

 

 

 

 

Contest Rules: Competition is open to individual performers and groups. Applicants must submit one recording, either a cd or dvd with up to three selections. Performance time will be approximately 15 minutes in length. Bayfest will provide sound production, drum set and keyboard. Selections performed during the live competition must be of the same artistic style and form as the selections that were submitted with original application. A professional panel will judge contestants on artistic ability, stage presence and audience reaction. Profane language and dress is not tolerated.

Entry forms must be received no later than June 5, 2010 to be eligible for participation. A contest / performance schedule as well as complete rules will be forwarded to all contestants by Monday, June 8.
